This Privacy Policy explains how HabitWave ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to keeping your data safe and collecting only what is needed to provide the service.

Information We Collect

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address so we can authenticate you and sync your data across devices.
• Habit data. The habits, goals, logs, and progress you create in the app are stored so they are available whenever you sign in.
• Subscription information. If you purchase a subscription, purchase status is processed by Apple and our payment partner (RevenueCat). We store your subscription tier and expiry date to unlock premium features. We never receive or store your payment card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and sync your habit-tracking data.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features.
• To respond to support requests and feedback you send us.

How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored securely on our backend infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the app:

• Apple — app distribution and in-app purchases.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Cloudflare — backend hosting and data storage.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your account and associated habit data from our systems. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children's Privacy

HabitWave is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
